A mother’s love is endless — endless in the sense that it all comes down to roles that are too many to count. From raising children, taking care of the family, managing a household, to pursuing one’s career — truly, parenting is way harder than it looks.
As we celebrate all mothers this May, here are some of the women whom we think embody what it means to be a “super mom.” These are the moms who love sharing their stories to the world and inspiring fellow moms and soon-to-be moms out there to get up every morning, believe in themselves, and be the best moms they can be.
Curious about parenting and motherhood? The Mommy Ginger blog is a great place to start. Written by Ginger Arboleda, she narrates her experiences as a mother, as an entrepreneur, and as a woman. She is also the CEO of Manila Workshops and co-founder of Taxumo. Talk about strong women! While Mommy Ginger loves writing about motherhood, skincare, makeup reviews, and freelancing tips, she has her adorable daughter Zeeka following in her footsteps with her own YouTube vlog featuring toys, art, cooking, and bonding moments with her mother. As a “mompreneur,” Ginger believes that no matter what struggle mothers face,“you are doing the best that you can to be the best mom that you can be!”
A band vocalist, TVC/voice talent, host, and brand ambassador, Louise Santos is a wife and a mother of three handsome and talented boys: Wessie, Damien, and Dandre. Louise, who is known to have bravely faced every challenge in her life as a single mom, is now happily married to her bandmate and loving husband, Macky. She is also known for her multi-awarded blog, Mommy Practicality, where she shares how being practical is not skipping the best in life but “living the quality of life, [by] getting more out of what we spent, [and] doing more [given a certain] kind of lifestyle.” What else could we ask for? The talent, the brain, the strength, the love — mothers are really THAT awesome!

Raising a child is hard. But for many of us, nothing compares to the strength we get from our mothers. Mommy blogger Levy Martinez exerts all her efforts for the two men in her life: her graphic artist husband, Noel, and her son, Ren. While she inspires and influences many mommies out there, her son Ren joins her in making his own YouTube vlog, where he posts different toy reviews for his viewers. To this day, Mommy Levy continues to write about her journey as a mom, DIY tips, and fashion and travel finds.
No one loves sunsets the way Sheena and her sons, Dylan and Luke, do. Besides being a homeschool mom, Sheena is an online and print lifestyle and travel writer, illustrator, and graphic designer. To add to the list, she is also the co-founder of Bonjour Baby, a baby product brand. Setting God as the center of their family, she continues to inspire families through her stories of faith and discovery.
It’s really hard to put into words our never-ending love for our mothers. Motherhood may be exhausting and life-draining, but for many, it is their life’s biggest achievement. Through their online platforms, these moms continue to share their experiences as mothers — no matter how imperfect and unflattering the journey may be.
In this month’s celebration of mothers, we remember that our real-life superheroes are not found in the sky — but behind closed doors, tending to their life’s greatest blessing: us.
